About Molevex

Is anything applied to my product?

No. Your product's own composition is examined. Nothing is added to your packaging, your recipe or your production line.

Can I start without a reference of my own?

Yes. The shared reference pool gives you a basis for comparison from day one. As your own verified samples are added, the library becomes specific to your product.

Who takes the sample?

We choose the route that suits you together: your own team sends the sample, pre-screening is done at the facility, or our team takes on the sampling.

Where does the result settle?

In the laboratory. The quick look in the field tells you which sample is worth examining further; the result you put in front of your buyer and your auditor rests on laboratory confirmation.

Can I hand the report straight to my buyer?

Yes. The report is prepared in a form you can share without writing a summary of your own, in language a non-specialist can read.

General

General questions

Do our existing systems have to change?

No. Molevex does not replace a production or quality system; it works alongside the setup you already have.

Who owns the reference?

The reference belongs to your product and is kept in your name. The measurement records the product's measurable properties, not your recipe.

Which questions does it answer?

Whether the batch in your hands is the product it is declared to be, whether there is something in it that should not be, and whether it came from where it is said to.

Which sectors do you work in?

We work across nine sectors: food, olive oil, honey, supplements, beverages, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, feed and agriculture, and chemicals.

How is the starting scope decided?

In the first meeting we talk through your product range, your supply structure and what your buyers expect; which products are examined, and how often, is decided from that.

Do we have to examine every batch?

No. Samples are taken per supplier at regular intervals; when you start with a new supplier, or when price or delivery patterns change, examinations are made more frequent.

Can a product already on the shelf or in the warehouse be examined?

Yes. Because nothing needs to have been applied to the product in advance, a product on the shelf today can be examined too.

What format does the report take?

What was examined, what it was compared against and what the result was are on a single page. The format is agreed with you around what your buyers expect.

Are past measurements kept?

Yes. Every result is kept tied to its batch; you can go back and compare a batch years later.

Let's decide together which of your products to examine.

The first meeting reviews your product, sales channels and the risks you face, and recommends a suitable method.
